How-To Use the Online Store

Ordering products or Internet Time online for the first time can be a traumatic experience. These instructions will guide you through the process.

Ordering for the first time:

  •  You need to find the store first. A link to the store exists on the opening page of The Friendly Giant web site. To get to it, click on the 'E-Store' link the first page. Why not do it now while you are reading this. Open up another browser, Go to File, New, Browser or Window. You can also enter http://www.giant.net.au/giantstore/

  •  The first page you see is where you need to make your first choice. Who are you purchasing your Internet Time through? We'll say that we're ordering time for The Friendly Giant. Click on the link 'Order Internet Time for The Friendly Giant', then you will be asked to select which amount of time you wish to order. If you need to renew your membership you can also do this here. So select the amount you wish to purchase. A Shopping Cart will be displayed with the item you selected in it. If that is all you wish to purchase, click 'Go to Order Form'.

  •  It is now time to choose your payment option and then, when prompted, enter your e-Mail address carefully

    Filling in your customer details:

  •  If it is your first time using our online store you need to enter your personal details, otherwise these should be already filled in for you and you can make any changes where necessary.

  •   Please note that any box marked with an asterix (*) is COMPULSORY.

    Completing the Order:

  •  An Invoice detailing your order appears at the foot of the Customer Details form. Please check the details you have entered and if these and products ordered are correct, click "Process Order"

  •  When you place the order, you will receive an email confirmation which also gives you the Order Number for future reference. Once you receive this you are finished!
